UL 94 Flammability Standard
UL 94 rates plastic flammability from HB (horizontal burn) to 5VA (highest). V-0 requires self-extinguishing within 10 seconds. Flame-retardant grades of ABS, PC, PA, and PBT are the most common V-0 compliant materials.
